"Not me, but you" — a responsibility beyond the campus.

Learning in the village, not only in the classroom

Our NSS unit adopts a village each year and organises health surveys, awareness sessions and free check-up camps there.

For students this is not merely a certificate exercise — it is where they first see community health outside the pages of a book.

  • Annual seven-day special camp in the adopted village
  • Free health check-ups and distribution of medicines
  • Blood donation camps with local blood banks
  • Cleanliness drives and tree plantation
  • Awareness rallies on anaemia, hygiene and nutrition
  • Certificates for volunteers as per NSS norms
