How to lodge a complaint
Choose whichever route suits you. Action begins within 24 hours of any complaint.
Warden or faculty
Speak directly to the hostel warden, your class teacher or any faculty member.
Principal's office
Time to meet the Principal directly is always available.
College helpline
Call the college office number to register a complaint.

Consequences
Punishments as per regulations
Action is taken under the UGC Regulations, 2009 and NCISM norms.

| Forcing acts that cause shame | Suspension from classes and hostel |
| Physical assault or injury | Rustication and an FIR under the IPC |

| Sexual harassment | FIR, rustication and ICC proceedings |
| Repeated offence | Expulsion and debarment from other institutions |
Prevention

Anti-ragging squad
Random inspections of the campus, hostel and mess.
Affidavits
An affidavit from every student and parent at the time of admission.
CCTV coverage
CCTV in corridors, hostel entrances and common areas.
Mentor system
A senior mentor is assigned to every first year batch.
Awareness week
A session at the start of every academic year.
Confidentiality
The identity of the complainant is kept confidential.
