When this college opened in 2004, Beed district had no full-fledged Unani degree institution. Students had to travel to Aurangabad or Hyderabad, and villagers struggled to find affordable Unani treatment nearby.
M J Patel Education & Welfare Trust decided to solve both problems at once — a college, and alongside it a hospital that would serve not only teaching but real patients.
